Hongze Cheng
Hongze Cheng is Co-Founder and Storage Engine Architect at TDengine and is responsible for designing the system structure of TDengine 3.0 and implementing the storage engine. Additionally, he is in charge of the design of TDengine’s next-generation storage. He joined TDengine after graduating from the University of Michigan with two master's degrees.

He has been focusing on the field of time-series data storage, giving several keynote speeches on the topic and actively participating in open-source community activities.

Haojun Liao is Co-Founder & Query Engine Architect at TDengine and is responsible for the development of query processing component of the product. He has a Ph.D. in Computer Applied Technology from the Institute of Computing Technology (Chinese Academy of Sciences) and is focusing on time series data/spatial data analysis and processing.

Shuduo Sang
Shuduo Sang is an open-source software veteran at TDengine, working on magnifying TDengine capabilities to connect easily with more third-party software for IoT and DevOps users. He and his team develop and maintain the multiple client libraries and tools for TDengine such as taosBenchmark and taosAdapter. Before joining TDengine, he worked on open-source and Linux at Canonical and Intel.

Jeff Tao
Jeff Tao is the founder and CEO of TDengine. He has a background as a technologist and serial entrepreneur, having previously conducted research and development on mobile Internet at Motorola and 3Com and established two successful tech startups. Foreseeing the explosive growth of time-series data generated by machines and sensors now taking place, he founded TDengine in May 2017 to develop a next generation data historian purpose-built for modern IoT and IIoT businesses.
